在宏观层面上,森林植物资源管理主要包括森林调查与监测、森林与城市林业空间规划、森林采伐与利用等,主要关注世界各国的生态安全、木材生产和森林植物功能效益。在微观层面上,对森林和植物资源可持续管理的研究主要是为了确定如何优化森林结构,实现产出最大化,即如何实现木材生长最大化。森林结构的可持续管理主要涉及森林混交、森林密度和森林生长的优化和最大化。本期特刊旨在探讨但不限于以下议题:
u 不同国家和地区森林覆盖率和林龄结构的优化规划设计;
u 森林植被生长过程的模拟分析——即森林植被生长与环境条件之间的定量关系;
u 统计分析不同时间和空间的混交林密度分布,包括森林最大密度的统计分析;
u 在非林地的混交林营造与可持续森林管理;
u 将人工纯林转变为混交林的可持续森林管理;
u 森林生物量、碳储量和碳汇的统计分析;
u 为可持续森林管理奠定基础的其他相关研究(森林和植物资源调查与监测、森林和城市森林空间规划、森林采伐与利用等)。
